George Hurd performs a FREE concert of pieces from his Echolocation project and more, composed from field recordings collected around the world, woven together with hyper-rhythmic percussion, found sounds, recordings of street musicians, and a vast web of custom electronic sounds – creating a completely unique sonic world enveloped by immersive video projections. While most well known as an electro-acoustic composer with his group The Hurd Ensemble, this performance will push the boundaries of his purely electronic music.
