This project has been years in the making and to do a fully-electronic version properly with live visuals is incredible. In this new Covid world where travel is almost non-existent, I’ve had to rethink the project entirely. Instead of focusing on traveling to new places, I’ve turned inward, writing about places I’ve been that are no longer within reach. Places I’m filled with nostalgia for but are either too unsafe or simply impossible to get to, at least for the time being.

Recreating Echolocation for one of the greatest and most forward-thinking music festivals/orgs around is more than I could ask. Mutek is global and is presenting over a hundred artists from all over the world. It’s an honor to be part of it.
