The Kennedy Center show with The Hurd Ensemble was hands-down the most exciting performance of my life. Walking out on stage in the gloriousness that is the Grand Foyer and seeing not just a packed house, but people standing by the dozens in the back and spilling down the staircases to the sides were there were no more seats to be had. The sound was impeccable, and the lighting was gorgeous, all thanks to the wildly professional crew that works there.
But the best part of it all is that they filmed the entire performance beautifully, so anyone who wasn’t there can enjoy it.
